Rule Group Dynamic request approval based on user-defined fields is used in cases where you need to configure request approval based on the values of selected custom fields. This approval is used in combination with a request template—you assign custom fields to the request template and use dynamic approval to determine which fields will be subject to approval. For each value of a custom field, you can define a specific approver or a group of approvers. A custom field with the “KO” (knock-out) option selected will be placed first in the first stage of the approval process.
Similar to the rule from the Predefined Approval group, you can specify the approval method (serial or parallel), whether approval by a superior is required, and whether comments are required for approval or denial.
