The Approval module provides the ability to document decisions transparently and efficiently. All information is automatically recorded in the system and remains available for review. Through this module, CDESK allows you to record various alternative scenarios. You can use approval as follows:
- Approval in the Requests, Offers, Leave Requests, Fills modules or free approval without a link to any module
- Precisely defined criteria for the approval outcome, for example a sufficient number of approvals or mandatory approval by a supervisor
- Various approval groups – predefined approval process, free approval or approval based on user-defined fields
- Approval can run sequentially (serial) or simultaneously (parallel)
- An approver can be a specific user, group, role, position or a combination of these options
- Option to define approval of values of selected user-defined fields
- Option to mark a user-defined field as a KO criterion (“knock out”) for approval – rejection of this field will reject the entire request
- Informing involved parties about the approval progress and the final decision
