Edit Task
You can search for a task directly in the task list, or via a link in a specific request or deal, on the Tasks tab.
You can edit a task in one of the following ways:
- by double-clicking the desired task in the list
- by selecting the Edit option from the context menu

This will open the task form, which is identical to the form used to create the task, with the addition of the ability to manage Status – from predefined or custom task statuses, Location, Percentage Complete and Offer.
You can edit the list of available statuses in the section Global Settings → Tasks → Task Status.
Delete – This button is used to delete a task. You must have the appropriate permissions to delete a record. Once deleted, the task will no longer appear in the task list.
Fulfilments on a task
Fulfilments are used to track the work performed while completing a specific task. The Fulfilments tab is only available after the task has been saved and only if this feature is enabled in Global Settings → Fulfilments. Access to the “Fulfilments” tab can be further configured via user permissions (Users and Groups → Users → Specific User → Permissions tab → Fulfilments).
Depending on your assigned permissions, you can enter the following on this tab:
- Billing fulfilments – these are added by clicking the button + Add Fulfilment, which opens the corresponding entry window. The meaning of each field is described in the Fulfilments section of the documentation. These deliveries serve as the basis for invoicing customers.
- Internal deliveries – entered via the option + Add internal delivery. The same form window opens as for an invoiced delivery. Internal deliveries are intended for internal record-keeping of work performed and are not visible to customers.
All added fulfilments, regardless of type, are then displayed in the overview in the Fulfilment list section.
History
This tab provides information about the creation of the task, as well as any subsequent changes made to it.
Notifications
In the upper-right corner of the window, you will find icons for configuring task notifications:
Notifications enabled – After creating or editing a task, notifications can be sent to all relevant users.
By default, all users listed in the “Assignee” and “Auxiliary assignees” fields will receive a task notification. If task notifications are disabled in the section Global Settings → Notifications, notifications will be sent only to customer contacts. In this case, CDESK system users will not receive the notification. One-time notification block – By clicking the notification icon, you can block the sending of notifications for a specific task. The icon will change to disabled, and no notification will be sent after the task is saved.
Edit Notification Recipients – Clicking this opens a window with a list of current recipients. For recipients who were added automatically (e.g., based on a role or relationship), the reason for their inclusion is also displayed. Recipients can be added manually by entering a username, email address, or phone number in international format (e.g., +421 for Slovakia). To remove a recipient, click the × icon next to the relevant contact. Clicking the + symbol allows you to re-add a previously removed recipient to the list. This feature enables precise configuration of notification distribution according to the needs of a specific task.
