Meaning of the fields in the task form

The form for creating a Task contains required and optional fields of various types; required fields are marked with a dot next to the field name. The form’s content adapts to the settings of the Tasks module and the user’s permissions, and access to some fields may be restricted. When creating a task, only the basic fields are displayed; additional fields become available after saving the record. This chapter briefly explains the purpose of each field, which is used to enter key information about the task, its dependencies, deadlines, and responsible persons.
