Merging notifications into one message
When several changes are made within a single action, the system can merge several notifications into one combined notification. Instead of sending a separate notification for each change made, the recipient is sent one notification containing information about all the changes made. For example, when the request status and the assignee are changed at the same time, several separate notifications are not sent, but one combined notification containing both changes.
The aim of merging is to reduce the number of notifications sent and to give the recipient an overview of all the changes made within one action, in a single save of the record. Changes made in a further, separate save are sent as a new notification.
Checking sent notifications
In the event of delivery problems, or when you need to check to whom and in what matter notifications were sent, you can check the Communication → Sent notifications section, where you will find all sent notifications, including information about the recipients, the communication channel used, the sending status and any delivery errors.
