Top panel settings

The top panel is the telephone that the operator uses. This tab is used to set how calls are signalled and what the operator sees on the screen.

  • View warning when ringing – a warning will be displayed in the app when a call is received.
  • Desktop call notifications – a notification of an incoming call will also be viewed even when CDESK is on another tab or minimised.
  • Desktop queue notifications – the same applies to calls coming into a queue.
  • Require interaction – the notification remains on screen until the user closes it themselves.
  • Outstanding calls list settings – determines which missed calls the operator can see: none; only their own and those from monitored queues; or their own and those from all queues.
  • Include calls with an open request – when this setting is disabled, the list contains only calls from which a request has not yet been created; when enabled, it also includes calls with an open request.

Please note: For desktop notifications to actually be viewed, they must be enabled for CDESK in both your browser and your operating system. These settings in CDESK do not, in themselves, replace the system-wide permission.
