Overview

Central Search is a universal tool for quickly accessing data throughout the entire CDESK system. The search bar is located at the top of the application and is always available, regardless of which part of the system the user is in (except when content is displayed in a modal window that overlays the main application window).

Unlike local search bars, which apply only to specific lists, central search allows searching across all records in the system. Its main features are:

  • Unified access – a single search field for all record types.
  • Clear organization of results – found records are sorted by entity type.
  • Quick navigation – immediate transition to a specific record from the results list.
  • Work Efficiency – saving time when searching for data across various modules.
  • Knowledge and Configuration Support – access not only to operational data, but also to the knowledge base and system settings.
