Issuing the handover protocol after transfer to the asset register

An item that has been transferred from the stock into the asset register can be worked with immediately. By issuing a handover protocol, the item is assigned to a Transferee, who takes responsibility for it.

A handover protocol for an item can be created in Asset register → Asset list → specific item, and from the Manage item menu choose Assign via handover protocol. Further steps are described in the Asset register protocols chapter.
