Overview

Project deals in CDESK can be used for comprehensive project management, from planning through to completion. They allow you to track time, costs, revenue, and resource utilization within a single environment. Thanks to the ability to define parent and child project deals, large projects can be clearly broken down into smaller phases or thematic units.

Ways to use project deals in CDESK software:

  • Project and deal management – planning, execution, and evaluation of individual phases or activities within a project.
  • Clear structure – ability to create parent and child project deals for better organization of large projects.
  • Tracking deadlines and progress – recording planned and actual deadlines, completion percentages, and implementation status.
  • Financial management – monitoring costs, revenues, and margins; integration with invoicing and internal costs.
  • Work and material tracking – recording hours worked, expenses, resources used, and materials.
  • Responsibilities and Team Collaboration – assigning assignees, designating a project lead, and distributing tasks among assignees.
  • Integration with Other CDESK Modules – such as requests, work deals, deals, or invoicing.
  • Documentation and Communication – ability to add attachments, notes, and change history to individual deals.
  • Evaluation and Reporting – monitoring of efficiency, financial results, and goal achievement at both the deal and project levels.

The figure below illustrates the relationships between Projects, Project Deals, and other modules, reflecting the comprehensive functionality of Project Management in CDESK.
