Basic Information
- Deal Name – Enter a descriptive name under which the deal will appear in lists.
- Deal Code – If you do not enter a code, one will be generated automatically. If you want deals to use a default numbering format, set it up at Global Settings → Deals.
- Customer – select the company under which the deal will be recorded. Clicking the button > displays a list of companies in a separate window, along with additional details. If the desired company cannot be found, add a new one by clicking the icon + .
- Responsible Assignee – select the user responsible for handling the deal.
- Customer contact – select the contact with whom you communicate regarding the progress of the deal on the customer’s side. If no contact has been created, add a new one using the icon + .
- Expected start date – the date and time of the expected start of deal fulfillment.
- Start date – the date and time of the actual start of deal execution.
- Expected completion date – the date and time of the expected completion of deal execution.
- Completion date – the date and time of the actual completion of deal execution – based on this date, an evaluation is subsequently performed to determine whether the deadline was met. If the deadline is exceeded, the system sends a notification to the responsible operator.
- Status – select the deal status. The list of available deal statuses can be edited at Global Settings → Deals.
- Stage – select the deal implementation stage. This field can be optionally enabled in Global Settings → Deals, where you can also edit the list of stages to be offered in the selection.
- Tags – enter keywords describing the selected deal. Tags that have not yet been entered will be created after the deal is saved.
- Attachments – option to attach a file (e.g., a scan, document, or photo). You can attach a file by dragging it with your mouse into this field, or by clicking on it to select a file from your disk. You can also add multiple attachments. A list of attached files will appear below this field.
Custom fields
The predefined custom fields in Global Settings → Deals allow you to add additional information to an deal. For more information on defining custom fields, see the article on Custom Fields.
