Deal settings are configured at Global Settings → Deals.

- Enable the Deals module – setting the toggle to the “On” position
will make the Deals menu item and other module settings available. If the Deals module still does not appear in the menu, check the permissions in Users and Groups → Users → specific user → Permissions tab → Deals.
- Automatic code generation – Toggling the switch to the On position
will enable the field for entering a custom deal code format. In the code used, the last numerical sequence will change incrementally as deals are added.
- Show linked objects – setting the switch to the off position
will prevent requests, fulfilments, tasks, and the relevant data derived from them from being displayed in the deal list. This setting is intended for scenarios where there would be a large amount of data in the aforementioned tabs without a need to display it, which could slow down the system. User-defined fields
In this section, you can add custom fields to your deals—fields that aren’t included in the form but are useful for your business.
Custom fields were developed for the CMDB module, and the deals simply inherit them. Therefore, the addition and further configuration of custom fields takes place within the CMDB module.
Adding a custom field
To add a custom field, click the +Assign Custom Field button. Clicking this opens a new window with a list of custom fields that you define under the CMDB module. Next to each field is a checkbox that you can use to select the desired field. You can add the selected fields by clicking the Assign selected button. These items will then be included in the request form.
If the list does not contain the custom field you need, you can also define it directly in the field selection window using the buttons +Simple custom field and +Compound custom field. Selecting the option +Simple custom field creates a basic property. Use the button +Compound Custom Field to add a compound property that contains multiple basic properties. For more information on working with custom fields, see the text Configuration Database, CMDB.
The selected custom fields will be added to the list at User-defined fields. The fields will appear in the deal they are listed here on the deal form. You can reorder the items by dragging the . A search bar is located above the list. You can delete custom fields that you have already added but no longer wish to use by clicking the “
