Overview

The request catalog allows you to speed up and simplify the process of entering new requests. You can achieve this by defining templates. These templates extend the use of the Request module for specific scenarios. When creating requests from a template, you don’t need to enter all the parameters manually, most fields can be pre-configured in advance. Below is a list of parameters you can configure for a template:

  • Predefined resolver, assistant resolver, responsible person, priority, type or area of service, as well as the title and description, which will speed up the process of filling out a new request.
  • Assignment of a company, type, or category of companies. This way, each company can use a service catalog tailored to its needs.
  • Setting the visibility of tiles based on job positions or specific user groups. This allows logged-in users to see only relevant tiles.
  • Setting the obligation of deadlines for the request differently than according to global settings.
  • The option to limit the selection of operations and locations, reasons for termination, resolution methods, and causes of the request based on the focus of the request.
  • The option to make the selection of a project order mandatory, ensuring the assignment of requests to specific projects.
  • Assignment of a custom set of user fields with the option to select their placement within the request form.
  • Generation of tasks or work orders during the lifecycle of the request.
  • An approval process can be assigned to the template, with the approval taking place either before or during the resolution of the request.
