How it works

List of restrictions to be taken into account:

  • Only what you have enabled in CDESK. Fields that are disabled in CDESK or for which you do not have a licence remain unreachable for the assistant – a disabled field will respond with the alert ‘module is disabled’. The assistant always sees only what your custom CDESK account can see, and if access is rejected, CDESK will return a 403 error.
  • Not every part of CDESK is covered yet. Projects, work orders, approval, the Knowledge base and the calendar are currently missing. Further fields will be added in future releases, and nothing you set up now will need to be changed when they are introduced. In the CDESK MCP cloud, new fields will appear automatically; on your own server and on your own computer, they will only appear once you have downloaded the new version of the files.
  • The names must already exist in your CDESK. Statuses, types and priorities are defined by you. A name that does not exist will be declined – with drafts for the closest existing names – so if you are unsure, ask for a list of them first.
  • Times are in the local time of your CDESK. ‘Tomorrow at 8:00’ refers to its time zone.
  • No uploading or downloading of files. The assistant can attach a file that already exists in CDESK to a ticket discussion, but it cannot upload a new one or retrieve any files from there.
  • No CDESK reports. The Assistant can read through multiple records and summarise what it has found, but it cannot create its own custom CDESK reports or export them as documents – please apply CDESK for this.
  • The Assistant isn’t always right. Like any AI, it can make mistakes. Before relying on what it tells you, confirm it – especially when it comes to important decisions.
